Red Velvet French Toast


4 eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons agave (can use sugar but try to not use a lot of white sugar 😉
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
5 teaspoons red food color (I used organic vegetable food coloring)

8 oz cream cheese
2 tablespoons powder sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

fresh sliced strawberries
Bread ( I use bread for a hoagie roll cut in slices or gluten free bread, potato bread is also good)


Put all the ingredients for the dip in a food process to get a smooth, lump free mix.
Place your sliced bread (each person should get two slices of bread-french toast is put together like a sandwich) in a 9x13 pan.
Pour your dip over the bread and allow it to soak into the bread.
Put the soaked bread on the griddle that is warm and greased with butter.
Allow bread to cook well.
Put your slices of bread together like a sandwich. One slice on plate put filling on bread with slices of strawberries then top with another piece of bread. You can dust the top of your french toast with powder sugar.
