Whole Wheat Banana Bread
3 ripe bananas (mashed up)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup plain greek yogurt
1/2 cup butter
2 cups whole wheat flour
Preheat oven to 350
In one bowl mash up your bananas, add the egg, vanilla, yogurt to the bananas and mix well
In a second bowl mix up flour and cinnamon and cut in butter till it is a cornmeal consistancy
Add the banana mixture to your flour mixture and mix well
Grease an 8x8 casserole pan with butter and pour in your batter.
Bake the bread for about 50-60 minutes.
Allow to cool before trying to remove from pan.
Now keep in mind because this in whole wheat flour this is a thick bread but what I like about it is that it isn't real crumbly which is great when feeding it to my grandson.
